This is the About Page of CA Vikram Shankar Mathur, who is basically a Chartered Accountant, qualified as an ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) in the year 1989, became an FCA (Fellow Chartered Accountant) in the year 1995. He has worked for six years in the Industry, with companies like Ingersoll-Rand (India) Ltd, Crompton Greaves Ltd, Cadila Laboratories Ltd and Gujarat Telephone Cables Ltd upto June 1995.
In July 1995, he started his independent practise as a Chartered Accountant with the firm name Vikram S. Mathur & Co., Chartered Accountants. In December 2012, his firm got merged with M/s Kartik T. Vayeda & Co., Chartered Accountants, a position he holds till date.
He obtained the Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) in March 2006 from the ICAI and the Forensic Accounting and Fraud Prevention (FAFP) in March 2016. He is also a certified Bank Branch Auditor, also from the ICAI in September 2016.
Apart from being very versatile in the field of Accounting, Audit, Corporate Law, Taxation and Costing (he had gotten exempted in Costing in the Final Examination of CA), he has more than 30 years of experience as a Microsoft Excel Professional, he has trained the entire office staff about optimum usage of Excel, during his days as a Partner in M/s Rajiv I. Ravani & Co., Chartered Accountants (1995-2012). He is also well-versed with the usage of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) since the last 30 years. He is often referred to as the "DeadlyVBA.Programmer" informally since the last 25 years.
